Numerous people have told us that they read our magazine when considering relocating to San Marcos and found it to be a great resource to learn about this thriving community. Because of this,  we thought that including a directory focusing on visitor options was warranted and appropriate.

We’ve expanded San Marcos Magazine to include a visitor oriented directory that will feature shopping, dining, entertainment and lodging options within and surrounding the San Marcos community.  We have also expanded our circulation and distribution locations as seen below…

20,000 free copies are distributed each quarter to hotels, motels, and timeshares throughout North County as well as regional visitor centers and transportation terminals, restaurants, doctor’s and dentist’s offices and many other high frequency, high visibility locations in San Marcos and neighboring communities. This includes 7,600 FREE copies that are hand-delivered in poly-bags to homes in select San Marcos neighborhoods such as Discovery Hills, the Laurels, Rancho Dorado, Twin Oaks Valley Ranch/Rose Ranch, Lake San Marcos and Santa Fe Hills.

In addition to our broader circulation we are now direct mailing to over 3,000 homes in San Elijo Hills as an added value for our advertisers.
